It is solid and sturdy, and that’s probably because Life Fitness is a top brand for commercial gym equipment. The Run CX treadmill also functions like a gym treadmill. The console is pretty straightforward, it doesn’t connect to wifi, and it also doesn’t require a monthly subscription fee to access the preloaded programs. There are 15 preloaded workouts and 12 custom workouts. There are 6 modes where you’ll find the workouts. These are: classic, heart rate training, advanced, goal, custom, and HIIT. The custom mode is where you can create personalized workouts, and the heart rate training mode requires you to wear the included monitor chest strap. You can also create up to 4 profiles to save your stats and preferences, which makes the Run CX very multi-user friendly. We just had some difficulty inputting information to create a profile because there are limited buttons. Everything is easy to see and reach on the console. There is extra storage, 2 large cupholders, and an entertainment rack to place your phone/tablet. The Life Fitness Run CX is also Bluetooth enabled so it can connect to third-party apps like Zwift and the Life Fitness Connect App. We found this treadmill to feel really solid and sturdy overall. It has a large running surface at 60” x 22” and the cushioning is firmer but sufficient for long distance running. The Run CX also has a large weight capacity at 400 lbs to accommodate for larger users. We recommend the Run CX treadmill from Life Fitness for users who don’t want to be tied in a monthly subscription, so if you’re looking for an interactive studio class experience at home, this isn’t the treadmill for that. However, if you’re a runner training for long distance races and you want a treadmill that can handle that level of training and last overtime, the Run CX is a nice option. Overall, our team really enjoyed the Run CX. If you’re looking for a sturdy and straightforward treadmill, check it out. 0:00 - Life Fitness Run CX Introduction 1:29 - Who We Recommend It For 5:06 - Functionality Demo 8:14 - Console 10:31 - Conclusion #lifefitness #treadmill #runcx'
